A Real Estate Shows Sneak Peak: Realtor Branded YouTube

Real Estate Shows will be rolling out new features to its popular real estate video product. We were given a sneak peak by Jeff Turner, the Shows’ ringmaster.

We took the souped up (or is it suped up?) Real Estate Show for a test drive and here’s the cool new stuff under the hood:

  • Ability to wrap Realtor branding around video from YouTube. Simply link it into the show. ( Brightcove, Veoh & others will be available in future releases)
  • Panoramic View mode
  • Inclusion of still photos
  • Property details tab
  • Link to other related Real Estate Shows of the Realtor
  • Talk with Me Now via RealPing

According to Jeff:

The Realtor only needs to put the link to the YouTube video in and voila…their branding stays with it. And we already submit to Realtor.com, so our users will be able to have their videos on Realtor.com when we release next week.

And here’s the lowdown (or is it down low?) on the cool panoramic view—-the panoramics in the show are made from one standard photo, just cropped to feel like a pano. No panoramic software was needed. The user controlled Panoramic View mimics a virtual tour. Giddy-up.

The race is on for video. And real estate agents marketing listings with it are the ones who will finish in the winner’s circle.

If you’ve got a shiny new tool, let us have a look see. We promise to let the cat out of the bag.

The problem is the QUALITY of YouTube is abysmal. As a seller, do I want my home represented that way? They look like they've been run over by a truck in a puddle of water.

FYI...Podcast links above are not working.
  • Tom, the ability to embed Veoh and Brightcove will be coming shortly. We chose to release with YouTube first because our clients use RealEstateShows.com for more than just listings. So the advantage of the size of their social network was the consideration. The quality of Veoh and Brightcove matches any we've seen.
  • Tim, they are screenshots not podcast links. Sorry about the confusion. We will update the post. Thanks.
  • Very cool, stuff. Jeff's really putting out a super product!
  • That was some interesting peice of information. I am working on an article about the varying trends across decades in the entertainment industry and I believe that your page could support my work. So, I would want to refer to your page. I hope that is okay with you. Appreciate your help.

    Respectfully,
    Kashin Torwalds.
