TenantMarket is a new website which matches landlords and tenants. Here’s how it works. A tenant creates a profile with their rental desires. Landlords, or their agents, search for suitable tenants and make contact directly with those tenants. Tenants pay nothing to submit profiles. Those searching for suitable tenants pay a membership fee. Prices start at $29.95 for 10 days, $39.95 for 20 days and $74.95 unlimited (until vacancy filled).
You can search by property type, bed/baths, zip code, rent and creditworthiness. Advanced search includes pets, smoking preferences and lease length. There is an automatic matching feature which will contact new tenants of offers. More “How it Works” here.
The site is easy to use and AJAX provides a pleasant search experience. We like the proximity to rental feature.
The site is the work of Jeremy Bencken, who is also co-founder of apartmentratings.com.
Take the site for a spin on the dance floor. You might fall in love with someone.

Thanks for the nice write-up. And to give credit where it’s due, all the real ‘work’ was done by our crack team of developers, especially Ben, who have been busy for almost a year getting the site done. I just make spreadsheets.
