Taking a cue from Open House marketing, “Got Milk” ads in bus shelters in San Francisco will be infused with the scent of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies (using adhesive scent strips). It’s the marketing idea of RL Public Relations & Marketing for the California Milk Processor Board.
We suggest some little entrepreneurs set up lemonade “milk & cookie” stands nearby.
Some enterprising real estate broker marketing new homes oughta get a “new house smell” strip for their ads. Hey, here’s an idea: New House Smell in a can or on those thingees they hang in the car. Use it at open houses or in your car when your driving clients around town. The smell should be more like freshly cut lumber not new carpeting. Or does that idea stink?
