The annual tomato slinging festival Tomatino, held in Bunol, Spain, drew a record 40,000 tomato lovers who found various uses for the 130 tons of ripe tomatoes. The streets drip red every year because back in the 1940s a couple of rowdy kids decided to have a food fight. Rumors that Jim Cronin of Real Estate Tomato started it all are unfounded.
