[...] Jim “the Tomato” Cronin writing for Sellsius, introduced us to two social bookmarking sites. The first site called Yoono (pronounced: “You Know”) not only synchronizes your bookmarks and favorites automatically, but also learns from all your past activity as well and offers suggestions for other related websites, blogs and people who share similar interests while you are web-surfing, for every page you that you decide to load in your browser.
[...] I spent lots of time in the blogosphere yesterday during the Yankee Blog Swap and learned a great deal from the many participants who put forth such a tremendous effort. Every single one was outstanding, and I discovered several new writers I want to visit again. I didn't view each of the contestants as blogging against each other but rather with their partner and my awards will reflect that perception. For best actor and actress, the bloggy goes to Ardell DellaLoggia of Rain Ciy Guide, just about the best blogger on the planet, with her post Redfin and the "Wings of Change" and Glenn Kelman from Redfin with his post, Memo from Nerd-Land to Realtors: Drop Dead. Ardell understands the future of real estate and explains everything perfectly and most importantly, she takes great care of her clients. Point number 11 from Glenn was inspiring, because it should always be about the customer.Best in animation must go to the inventive boys of sellsius° introducing chit chat and their fun Trump BlogLog post as well as for their incredible overall contribution to the real estate blogosphere. Kudos to Jim Cronin from the Real Estate Tomato for his excellent dual entries, Hot Tomato and Tomato Encore, capturing the style of sellsius' blog that he was partnered with. For reasons that will become obvious in a moment, I'm going to reverse the usual order and present my award for the best picture bloggy which just has to go to Geno Petro from Chicago's Home Weblog and Christine Forgione from NY Houses 4 Sale who were simply spectacular. I thought they best understood the other's blog style and Christine's picture really captured the essence of Geno. They were both totally fun, made you feel a part of the people and places of 2 great cities and are truly deserving of the top award. Geno, enjoy the beach, we're on our way this Saturday! Finally, best Director, the one and only Mary McKnight of RSS pieces who put the whole show together. WOW!
Teresa there is no way to top your comments. If there was a contest you'd win hands down for commenting.
Geno, thanks for being a regular. We look forward to seeing your trademark pose. Very cool. We gotta do a Selltoon in your honor.
