It is my pleasure to be able to provide the content that appears here today on the Sellsius Real Estate Blog. 20 prolific bloggers in the real estate community are swapping blogs, and I have been swapped here from the Real Estate Tomato.
In an effort to maintain some consistency with the style and rate of content the Sellsius audience has come to expect and appreciate, I hope to post twice today; once to introduce a cool new web 2.0 discovery and again to peek into what the future of real estate may hold.
I, like the boys of Sellsius, are huge fans of all that is 2.0 , as long as the tool is geared towards great entertainment, convenience, solution or innovation. A couple of days ago I stumbled across a 2.0 browser tool that just may satisfy all of the above.
Yoono (pronounced: “You Know”) is described as the best of del.icio.us mashed up with StumbleUpon.
Yoono instantly suggests related websites, blog notes and other people sharing your interests while you are web-surfing, for every page you load.
There’s no effort required. You no longer need to tag, type keywords or change interface. Yoono delivers the best that others have discovered right to your toolbar.
Much like StumbleUpon, Yoono is simple, entertaining and addictive. Much like del.icio.us, Yoono allows you to view other sites related to the one your visiting.
In addition, Yoono synchronizes your bookmarks/favorites automatically, so it learns from all your past activity as well as your future efforts.
Yoono is compatible with both IE and Firefox, and in both there is a customizable toolbar that you can move as you like, as well as a sidebar that displays at the same time another sidebar of your choice (your favorites for example).
For some this suggestion may have just ruined the rest of their afternoon’s productivity plans. For others, it may just open the door to many useful discoveries. In either case, we know you’ll have fun.
