The cover Story of this week’s Business Week magazine is titled “The Plot to Hijack your Computer”. It has a really eye opening article called “Yahoo’s Pop Up Connection”.
Spyware is one of the biggest problems with sites that allow Banner Ads, Sponsored Links and Pop Up Ads. You never know what’s going to happen when you click on that Sponsored link, Banner Ad or Pop Up. Plus, I think it really clutters a page and becomes an eyesore, which ruins a consumer’s browsing experience. Well, when we finally go live (soon folks :)), you won’t see any of that on our site. No Banner Ads, No Pop Up Ads, No Sponsored Links. Makes you wonder about all the ancillary income these Advertising based business model sites make. Hmmm?
