Tag Team Blogging

Blog posts go down a lot easier when you team blog. We don’t know how individual bloggers out there can punch out quality work on a regular basis without it taking a toll on them, physically & mentally.

We find the team approach a very effective weapon. Beside the obvious time savings, team blogging allows us to beat blogger’s block, bounce ideas off each other, and incubate unformed ones. Very often one of us has an observation but can’t seem to mold it into an interesting post. As we kick it around, the post idea takes shape. Then one of us knocks it out. If one stumbles, we just tag out and the other pins the post.

We’re curious how team blogging compares to community blogging. Do community bloggers blog alone in a group or do they take advantage of the synergistic effects of the mind meld?

I don’t know about community bloggers, but Teresa Boardman and I have worked as a team and published the results in different venues including the latest Real Estate Tomato’s Halloween Carnival. One gets the bones and the other fleshes it out (no pun intended). It definitely would be easier on the individual blog to have a partner . . . at least then one could take a vacation and not have to write a bunch of entries in advance!

Is writers block possible via blogging?

It’s easy to write but publishing is the problem. If you get writers block just do a link post to others who don’t have a block. A popular solution.
