Top 10 Women Real Estate Bloggers

TOP 10 WOMEN.jpg
Real Estate blogging is in its infancy. The few of us that are blogging today do it because we love Real Estate and we have unique expertise and experience to share with others. One thing we are truly excited about is the growing trend of passionate female Broker/Agent bloggers that are making their mark as pioneers of real estate blogging. They all have one thing in common that makes them shine - the power of knowledge gained through hands on experience. We applaud them because they set examples for the next generation of Brokers and Agents. They are respected by their peers and cherished by their clients and customers. They have strong opinions which make them stand out from the crowd. They set new standards for all to follow. If we had a prize to offer we would give it to them but we don’t. All we can say is THANK YOU!

At the January Inman Real Estate Connect Conference in NYC, Brad Inman had a panel called the Real Estate Power Broker Divas. These ladies were the presidents and CEO’s of very large Real Estate Companies. They demonstrated their unique skills, knowledge and charisma during the panel discussion and it was quite frankly our favorite panel of the entire conference. Although currently, they do not blog, they are just another example how today’s women of real estate are leading the way, so we applaud them as well.

Thanks Sellsius guys (I’m assuming… I’ve always assumed Sellsius was guy bloggers….wonder why?)

I am honored but totally unworthy to be on your list.

I listened to your Podcast. I have only listened to a couple of other Podcast ever b4… what fun! I love the pronunciation of Ardell! Thanks for the tip on BlogHer.

There are lots of great women bloggers on RT Blogs, Lynne, Chris, Sally, Leanne, Frances… new ones emerging every day.

Being noticed by the world constantly surprises me. I feel like Lisa Williams (BloggerCon IV) when she started blogging to “be alone” and ended up with “all you guys”. My head says this is a public post, but my “self” doesn’t believe anyone is watching! What a compliment to be on your list and among such intelligent and professional company. I read you avidly and now have some new blogs to add to my daily review! Thanks for the honor!

    Bonnie

Check out another post on Joeann’s blog: http://joeann.realtownblogs.com/tuesday-tips/goodchoices/ It’s excellent advice for women who have to juggle so many important things in their lives!

  11. 11 Claudia Wicks Aug 9th, 2006 at 11:03 am

What an honor! And especially to be in such great company!

Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

maureen - don’t be silly, you are worthy! it takes passion, or boredom :), to consistently post, but we believe you’re passionate.

anyone can add the podcast feature to their blog for free - visit http://talkr.com for more info.

blogher is great! i actually contacted them because they do not have a specific category for real estate and asked them if they would consider adding it. hopefully, we’ll here back from them soon.

thanks for the tips on the other ladies of real town blogs, i’ll check them out!

bonnie - you are a daily read for us as well and i’m sure for many others out there too. the honor is all ours.

sometimes we feel like we are just talking to ourselves and living in some parallel universe. my wife often teases me and asks if i’d like to join her in the real world and see what actual humans do for fun. so, i guess all of us bloggers are a small, yet growing group, that will one day grow to be recognized by mainstream society.

joeann’s post that you mentioned is really great. my wife loved reading it too.

What an awesome list!!! It is a great idea that was well executed!

  16. 16 Maggie Knowles Aug 9th, 2006 at 6:40 pm

I know why Ardell DellaLoggia and Marlow Harris are at the top of the list, I read their blogs regularly and learn much from them. That’s one of the things I love about blogging, I can read real opinions and discussions and see ideas develop. It’s not like having a static web site that reflects some tired old “I’m a top producer!” pitch.

Thanks for including me with these awesome women, I’m now going to go check out the rest of the top 10 women and see what else I can learn.

maggie - hey, that’s what blogging is all about - sharing, listening and learning. we all learn from each other and contribute our own comments to the conversation. thanks for sharing your professional opinions and experiences with all of us.

Thanks for leaving the comment on my blog Back in Skinny Jeans. This post is a great one to promote. One of the messages I like to emphsize is the power of women, so that we can remember that life is not just about looking pretty and obsessing about our looks. Brains matter too, and so I loved that your post here promoted women in real estate who are on the cutting edge of technology with blogging. Bravo!

    Hey Guys,

I wanted to salute my comrade Diane Cohn for her accomplishment in getting ranked by Sellsius as one of the top 12 women in blogging this year! I was so enchanted by your national tour that Diane got me on board with my own blog and it’s been an incredible ride for me.

The blogging community has to be the worlds best advancement in distribution of real estate technology, information and advice.

I thought your presentation at the Inman Conference was superb and check out my blog www.renorealestatelogic.com which is a direct result of your advice. It’s moving my career into the next generation of business development.

All the best and I hope to meet you in Las Vegas at the NAR Convention.

    Cheers,
    Michelle
