I came across a slight issue yesterday. The file size of some of the video I took was too large for YouTube and I tried to play w/ the google video uploader but had no success. I was asking all the guys at the show about how to properly compress the video and they had some great suggestions but none were free. In walks Phil from WellcomeMat and then it hit me. Who better ask then the guy who specializes in video for the real estate professional? So I did. I said, “Hey Phil, can you bail me out?” In 5 seconds he had the solution.
In the middle of the bar reception area, I whipped out my powerbook, connected his iPod to my laptop, which we used as a hard drive, and then I simply dragged my video to it. Mind you, we were all getting ready to head out to dinner so I would have to wait until he got back home for him to help me. After dinner, I called him and he was already working on it. Then presto chango, it was live.
