Roost Launces Free Real Estate Facebook Application

Roost.com, a hip real estate technology company, just launched a Facebook application for real estate brokers and agents. The application is called Social Real Estate℠.

The application creates a “Real Estate” tab on your Facebook page and shows active local real estate listings, Altos Research market stats, education and walkability data, along with the real estate professional’s cool mug.

Here’s a peak of it from Heather Elias Facebook page:

“Facebook has passed 400 million users and is arguably second only to Google in mass consumer engagement, but most real estate brokers and agents struggle to use the platform effectively,” said Alex Chang, CEO of Roost. “Our application solves that problem by delivering content consumers want and engagement tools real estate agents need within Facebook itself.”

The Roost application is FREE.

“Altos Research is all about helping professionals communicate local real estate market data to their clients and prospects,” said Michael Simonsen, CEO of Altos Research. “The new Roost app elegantly fits our vision because with it agents and brokers easily communicate powerful, valuable information to the vast Facebook audience.”

I can see real estate professionals giving this Roost Social Real Estate app a try.

“Facebook has been an important part of my business over the last several months,” said Joe Spake, REALTOR® with Revid Realty. “I’m so excited that Roost has developed an application that allows me to showcase relevant real estate data to fans of my Memphis Real Estate Page.”

  • Give them a call Mike and they will figure it out.
  • Every application and plug in on the web concerning real estate agents is always for the American market. Can anyone just make the currency symbols change so that agents from any country can use them?
  • Good question. There should be experts who can adapt the applications for
    other countries to use.
  • Just installed this on my Facebook Page and it was easy. Very cool. Free but you need to link to the Roost Search page.

Thanks Joe. We really wanted to build something that would benefit agents and we think we have a great start. But don't think we are going to sit back and pat ourselves on the back. We are pushing even harder and hope you will love some of the great stuff we have on the docket over the next several months!
