Moscow’s spacey Galaxy Building Complex, The “Galaktika”, is in the works. This futuristic piece of real estate will “hover” over the busy intersection of Michurin and Lobachevski streets. It will contain a shopping mall, hotel and restaurants. Parking for 2,500 cars. Maybe a couple of helicopter landing pads too. Construction begins this year and is expected to be completed by 2010. Estimated costs: $250 million.

I LOVE this post. I SO love this post. I’m going to “make something of it”. It brings such images to mind, like how so many towns complain about any new construction that doesn’t replicate the older homes.
I am jealous, as a patriot, that we were not the first to come up with this idea. It’s like “first man on the moon” stuff to me.
I used to live in that area for over 7 years. It will be really weird to see such a building in that part of Moscow. It will be a huge contrast with the rest of the area.
Hi Really a nice thing!
I have completed my higher studies from Moscow, and feel like my 2nd mother-land.
I have proude to see this plan.
Keep it.
