HomeGain Adds Home Seller Tools to AgentView

Price is what you pay. Value is what you get ~ Warren Buffett

Atta boy, Max

I’ve written about HomeGain’s AgentView marketing system for real estate agents and Home Sale Maximizer, their tool for helping home sellers evaluate repair/improvement ROI before putting their house on the market.

HomeGain has now integrated the Home Sale Maximizer tool into AgentView. (Press Release here)

For Buyers: One Stop Shopping

HomeGain is making “consumer centric” information easy on the consumer eye.

Folks who use AgentView can see, without leaving the page:

  • an agent’s profile, website and contact information
  • mapped home listings with access to the agent’s IDX feed (giving buyers the most comprehensive local coverage)
  • home valuation range and comps
  • blog posts
  • neighborhood information
  • “ask the agent” question box
  • Now a tab called “Seller tools“, which has the Home Sale Maximizer. The tab allows future tools to be easily added.

Home Sale Maximizer (HSM) was created after talking to professionals in the industry. HomeGain surveyed over 2,000 real estate agents nationwide and made a list of the top 10 moderately priced do-it-yourself home improvements that will help homeowners make more money when they sell their homes.

The HSM tool covers the most common areas of home improvement and gives tips as well.

What’s great for the real estate agent using AgentView is having their name and contact information at the top of whatever page the visitor is on, so when the buyer wants to reach out to them, it’s easy.

And unlike other real estate sites, there are no distracting ads to pull visitors off the website.

For Sellers: What are Home Buyer’s Looking For?

In any market, you want your home to stand out from the competition and be in tip-top selling shape. Knowing which home improvements and repairs best add to your resale value is important. Some age old home improvements, like painting the front door, won’t cost you too much but will add real value to the home.

Home Seller TIPS: Start by asking a local real estate agent (or 2 or 3) what home buyers are looking for– learn what’s hot (and what’s not). Then use tools like Home Sale Maximizer to see if it’s worth it for you to add any of those desired features. Also, check the tips section for low cost home improvement ideas. Many curb appeal enhancements are cheap and easy.
