Google Universal Search Will Turn Up Video

Google juice will now come in video flavors. Google just announced its Universal Search. Universal Search will produce video results along with text, image and book excerpt results on search terms. What does that mean? Go get your camera! Real estate and other professionals should post videos on their websites and blogs to entice the Google search spiders. Smile you’re on Google.

The search gorilla also launched Google Experimental, which will allow you to view the search results on a map or on a timeline. Hmm… I think I like the timeline.

  • If anyone had any doubt that blogs will rule the search engines, this just cements blogs even more. Big companies will mess about making "perfect videos" and us bloggers will have an endless supply of videos constantly churned out.

I'm going to be thinking about the next steps pretty seriously.
  • The listings wars may turn into who has the most content. Zillow Q&A;, Trulia Voices, Realtor Blogs.
  • Here's my feedback, I wish I was in high school and had it this easy.
Wow, so easy.My kids are gonna love it. Thanks for condensing all the stories into one place.
  • Good point about who has the most content. I wonder if different types of content will have a different amount of weight with the SE(s)?
  • This is major news for SEO. The face of real estate and how agents sell continues to change... I think for the better.
  • This stands to bode quite well for blogs. It will be interesting to see what kind of weight they will carry.
