New York Blogger Meet Up

Last night, Rudy and I got together with a small but interesting group of New York bloggers and entrepreneurs. We shared stories at Pazza Notte on 55th Street and Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas). The meet up was organized by Alejandra.

Meet up is a great face-to-face networking tool. Check it out.

Here are some pics:

Nihaar Gupta and Asif Rahman. These are the guys behind the cool start-up, youlicit, a recommendation search engine.

Dyan Parker is the author of You, MD, The Doctor Within. Dyan shared her interesting and inspiring story overcoming cancer. She has a website, DyanParker.com and is building a community to help others who have been diagnosed with a severe illness. If you have some tech skills, contact Dyan and give to a noble and good cause.

Laura (l) and Alejandra. Laura has a personal blog, grits in the city. An aspiring writer, she is “a gal from the Deep South working her way up the coast”. Alejandra is the meet up organizer. She’s a writer, a chef, and a computer nerd. A veteran blogger (since 2002) she says she’s “happily addicted.” In her “real life”, Alejandra is a magazine editor.

Also there was Don Tallerman. He left before I could get a pic.  Thanks for the pizza Don.

  • My first comment didn't record for some reason so here is a 2nd attempt.

I'm assuming that both of you guys will be attending the Inman Conference and I'm hoping that you can fill us all in on the difference between the two S.F. and N.Y. conferences. I will be anxiously awaiting.
  • hey guys, what's up? How would you say this conference differs from the S.F. conference? Wish I could be there but my home buyers come first so it's home bound in Sacramento I must stay.

Love to hear your thoughts on the comparison of the two conferences.

    Have a great time.
