Stating that Microsoft’s $44.6 billion dollar bid “massively”undervalued the company, Yahoo rejected the offer and talk is of rekindling merger talks with AOL. Yahoo’s complaints center around the belief its online advertising will bulge to $75 billion by 2010 (from $45 billion in 2007) and that Microsoft is taking advantage of its lowest stock price since 2003 to get a deal.
Parting is such sweet sorrow.
