Bigger Pockets Real Estate Investor Network Hits 25000 Members

If you prefer niche Blue Ocean-type social/business networks like Meetup.com over the “everyone in the pool” social networks like Facebook, you’ll like BiggerPockets .

BiggerPockets is a forum-based network which focuses on real estate investing.  In addition to the forums, there are real estate tools and resources, business forms and much more.  The BiggerPockets blog is top notch for dishing out useful advice.

One of the things I like about BP is the ability of members to create private chats to discuss business opportunities and deals with other similarly minded members.  Reminds me of a dating service for real estate investors.

BiggerPockets, begun in 2008, just hit 25,000 members!

Congratulations to Joshua Dorkin, Founder, and the whole BP crew.

Stay tuned for upcoming BP success stories, true tales of folks who actually grew bigger pockets.

  • I heard of the website but never sign up but I think I should now. Thanks
  • My pleasure Daniel. With such a vibrant community, I would imagine you will
find it useful. Please share your experience with us. Thanks.
  • I love the site and signed up immediately. It seems like a great place to network.
  • Thanks for the Congrats, Joseph! I never thought of us as a "dating service," but I guess the description fits! We appreciate the review and hope that all of your readers will swing by and get involved!

BTW - We're not only a site for investors, BiggerPockets has expanded from a site focused on investors to one focused on investors, professionals (agents, lenders, etc), and consumers!

Minor Correction: The site was founded in August 2004 as a resource site and in January of this year expanded to become a social network . . . we've had a forum based site for 4 years now.
