Happy Christmas - The Real Estate Blog War is Over

If I told you that this whole blog war has left a sour taste in my mouth, it would be a profound understatement. It’s times like these that make me wonder what the F? Quite honestly, I feel saddened by what has transpired and it’s not the first time. Maybe it’s bugging me because tomorrow is Christmas and all this negativity and pettiness is just plain ol’ depressing. Every time I check my feed reader I see another blurb about this whole black and white debacle. I love everybody. Can’t we all just blog along?

Merry Christmas. And to all you scrooges - Bah, Humbug! ~Rudy

As I’ve said, in my blog and in multiple comments elsewhere, I am weary of the whole sordid mess.

Happy Christmas Rudy, wishing the best to you and yours.

Thanks for sharing that video … I missed the brouhaha about the B&W … I REALLY liked it … I think it was clever. You guys are great … let go of the melancholy and hug a kid, for goodness sake … that’s what this season is all about.

Can’t wait to see you guys in NYC in a couple of weeks. I hope that you have an utterly joyful holiday … I am going to find a quiet corner for a couple of hours and write a poem while my bread rises. I will post it on a blog when it is finished (the poem, not the bread).

    Love you guys!!

Frances - forget the poem, send the bread up I-10 to me!

    Joe,

Greg Swann just called and asked me to pass on his best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season to you and Rudy. He also said your comments will now post without moderation or blacklisting ever again! Oh, yeah…that’s April Fool’s Day.

Oh well, Merry Christmas Guys!!! God Bless US Every ONE!

Merry Christmas and wishes for a very Prosperous 2008!

…and a very loud AMEN to the text about the blog war. I was about to buy into a conspiracy theory that the “war” was concocted to drive traffic and clicks back and forth to bump up rankings. But on a scale of 1 to 10 of what I know about SEO I give myself a 2. So maybe it was just pettiness and negativity.

One thing for sure, pre-”war” I started liking BHB and subscribed. Now, I’m thinking it’s just to darn preachy. Greg should get points for being a source for Fox Business News but it doesn’t make him the ultimate authority even if there was such a thing.

Education (if that’s the goal and I’m not really sure) is not didactic. Education leads through inquiry and curiosity.

Enough of my ranting on Christmas. Time to eat turkey (and not be one)!

    Merry Christmas to you guys!
I have learned to avoid reading blogs that use $10 words when 25-cent words would suffice.
Not to demean your writing, but I am able to actually understand your writing without feeling put down.
mebbe I am just plane dumm :(

Happy Christmas! I’m glad to hear the war is over.

Peace is less easily declared than war, all it takes is one party to declare war, but two parties are required for a declaration of peace.

TWO? Maybe we should make it up to ONE before you get your hopes up.
