A Dutch study has determined that Friday the 13th is actually safer than an average Friday…. at least from an insurer’s perspective.
The Dutch Centre for Insurance Statistics (CVS) published a study showing that, over the last 2 years, Dutch insurers received fewer traffic accident, fire and theft reports for events which occur on Friday the 13th than on other Fridays.
So, don’t be a scaredy cat –walk under a ladder, step on a crack and break a mirror… but keep your fingers crossed.

Well…
I just went to the post office and tried to mail a box which I thought would be at most $20. It turned out to be $75.00. I’d say the best it yet to come for me today!
I’ve never had much of a problem with Friday the 13th. Where did thsi superstition originate from? I hear in other countries different numbers are unlucky, does anyone have any knowledge on this?
Yeah me too. I never had any problems with Friday the 13th. But i do love the movie though.

I guess people are more careful on Friday the 13th because of the superstition surrounding that day. My understanding is that it got started when the Knights Templar were rounded up and executed by King Philip of France on a Friday the 13th.
Its just a superstition. Just for fun. Its not real. All are in our mind hehehe.
