Bert Sperling of Sperling Best Places has updated his “Best and Worst Cities to Sleep“. The 2006 findings were based on analysis of data from the CDC, Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Census Bureau. For better or worse, here’s Bert’s List:
Best Cities to Sleep
1. Anaheim, CA
2. Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA
3. Raleigh-Durham, NC
4. Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN (no wonder TB looks so well rested)
5. Chicago, IL (they tossed & turned last night: Colts: 29 Bears: 17)
6. Pittsburgh, PA
7. San Diego, CA
8. Miami, FL
9. Greensboro-Winston Salem-High Point, NC
10. Bergen-Passaic, NJ
Worst Cities To Sleep
1. Atlanta, Georgia
2. Nashville, TN (too many musicians?)

4. New York City (of course, it’s “The City That Never Sleeps”)

8. Columbus, OH (no wonder Maureen writes so often)
