Subliminal sales triggers? Do these exist in real estate marketing?

How could there not be? Home BUYing is very emotional and I suspect not even particularly rational once beyond your basic criteria of number of bedrooms etc.
Whether we have figured them out and have A sales trigger button to mash on until someone buys a HOUSE, I’m not so sure.
I suppose you could claim staging is a sublimminal trigger. I mean whether a home has furntiure or not shouldn’t make any difference in it selling, but it does and sellers GET a better price. No one consciously thinks, “this house is staged, so I’ll pay more”, they just unconsciously like the house better. Purely rational thinking would have you think “they LAID new carpet so I won’t have to replace that for a few years, but don’t want to pay MORE for the house because of it”.
