Access Your Bookmarks From Any Computer

Here’s yet another reason to love Firefox. You can save your bookmarks and access them from any computer, or your Blackberry. It’s fast and easy.

First, click Bookmarks from the toolbar. Next, click Manage Bookmarks:

From the Bookmarks Manager, click File, then Export:

export-bookmarks.gif

Now, Save the file (I usually save to Desktop so I don’t have to look far).

Once the file is saved, you simply email it to yourself (I like Gmail). Done.

Whenever you need to access your bookmarks, open your email using any device and bingo! there they are.

That’s such a great tool. I’ve used Firefox for many years and didn’t even know I could do that.

Or just install the Foxmarks (http://www.foxmarks.com/) add-on tool to Firefox on all your machines and let them keep your bookmarks in sync automatically.

That’s great advice Brad. This method is good for when you visit friends or go to the library or otherwise get your mits on another computer you don’t own.
