Turn your blog or website into your own personal broadcasting network with SplashCast.
It’s as easy as 1-2-3-4
- Create a slideshow or video (or borrow one from YouTube)
- Put it on a channel
- Put the channel on the player which sits on your blog or website
- Watch everyone play it, comment and subscribe to it. Yippee!
Newly launched SplashCast allows anyone to create and broadcast multimedia information (not just video) across the web. It’s FREE. The broadcast can include text, pictures, music, narration, voice over—virtually anything you want to transmit. Your broadcasts are organized into channels which are easily accessible from your website or blog, via their all-in-one player (which also allows you to plug in videos from other sources like YouTube) . Anyone who tunes into your channel will get your broadcast. Like YouTube, viewers can add comments and you can track the number of views to your channel.
A really cool feature is that your faithful readers can subscribe to a channel via RSS and get all your updated broadcasts. Now that’s branding power.
Once registered, go to your console to create a channel. The console has a guide and helpful tips. It looks like this:
We will add SplashCast to the blog and take it for a test run. Stay tuned.
