Many clients don’t readily have access to all their room or property dimensions. They may have additions like decks, patios or pools. You need these dimensions if you want a detailed listing. What do you do? Often it’s just wait for the client or try to dig them up yourself. Worst case, you visit the property and measure yourself. Well there may be a better way to go. iphotoMeasure software lets you use your camera to take measurements, both indoors and out. It’s as easy as 1.2.3
One: Take the photo using any digital camera. (even a camera phone)

Two: Download and open the photo in the software.
Three: Get the dimensions you need. You can print the photos with the dimensions (metric too).

What’s great about the technology is you don’t have to visit the property to take the photographs. Ask your client to take the photos and email them to you. (see Note)
Note: When we read the FAQ they said you had to stick a DigiTarget (7.5″ x 7.5″) somewhere in the photograph. So, you’ll have to send those do-hickeys to your client first. iphotoMeasure software available here ($99 or $119). .

Very Nice info. Thanks. lar
Very interesting. I wonder how well it actually works for indoor photos.
The company claims it works indoors, even to the extent of measuring the dimensions of furniture.
