New York Times to Aggregate Tech News

According to its press release (November 1, 2007), NewYorkTimes.com will aggregate technology news (see it here) a la Techmeme. With so much content disbursed across the net, it is difficult and time consuming to find it all. Traditional search engines like Google and Yahoo return as much noise as music. Aggregators/portals like Topix, blogrunner (acquired by NewYorktimes.com), megite, buzztracker , mashtracker, are popping up all over the web to serve the information hungry masses in a more efficient way.

Does anyone use these news aggregators?  Are they of any value?

…”they” come out of “what” “where”?…so, what do “we” put “them” in and how do “they” smell?…
