ClipMarks is a neat little Firefox/Flock/ IE clipping tool. It lets you clip whole pages or pieces of any website and store the clippings in a folder on the site. After downloading ClipMarks, add the icons to your toolbar for easy clipping. The ClipMark icons look like this:
The first icon is the clipping tool, the second saves it, the third prints it and the forth one is a link to Clipmarks where your clippings are stored in “My Clippings” (of course). Note: You need to set up an account at Clipmarks.com before you can save your clippings.
You can share your clippings with others on the site, email them, bookmark them to delicious or post them to StumbleUpon. And that’s only the beginning. You can put Clipmarks on your website or blog so your readers can see what you’ve clipped. It’s as simple as cutting and pasting code.
Clipmarks highlights popular clippings as well as newly added ones. Comments can be added to any clip. A neat little web scissor.
There’s also a topic search and text box to help you locate clippings. The Pop feature lets you call attention to clips you particularly like.
I set up an account and took it for a test drive. Fantastic. I highly recommend ClipMarks.

Looks nifty, guys. I will give it a test run. Thanks for the tip.
Hey guys
Thanks for the mention! We’ve got some incredible stuff coming in the next few weeks over at Clipmarks. What’s you’re clippername? I’d love to follow what you’re clipping.
Thanks again!

Thanks for stopping by Eric. I absolutely love the idea of Clipmarks. My clippername is jfsellsius. I just clipped a couple of posts to test it and it works great. The site is very clean and easy to use.
Can’t wait to see the new stuff. Continued success. We’re rooting for you.
Now, this is cool. I love the interface. And, of course, it works with FireFox my favorite browser…
For my time/money, Citebite.com is a better tool. It doesn’t require tedious registration or subject me to gratuitous ’social’ junk. Using either the Web UI, a bookmarklet or a dead simple Firefox extension, you just create your citation link and go.
Thanks for the tip F.E. Will check it out.
