love-toilet2.gif One or two ways to say I love you.

There will be no more arguments in the morning waiting to use the bathroom with this concraption contraption.

Designed in China by Amigo Zhou, the Love Toilet is meant to bring couples together for special moments of sharing in an otherwise busy life. Laugh as you may, but the Love Toilet was nominated for a 2007 Index Award in the Home category. The Index Awards are the biggest design awards in the world (so they say). They are awarded every two years in Copenhagen.

Personal observation which may affect product utility: Aside from the sounds and scents, you have to take your pants off to use it facing each other and the seat is between the couple.

  • I think all homes should have two potties in the master suite--separated by walls and doors! Protecting your partner from your sights, sounds and smells is true love.
  • You've got to be kidding! I know Americans that wouldn't use the pit toilets in Korea because they were public. I'm sure they'd have a hey day with this idea!
  • Reminds me of the "Love Toilet" spot from SNL.

  • Actually I heard the design was for families trying to find a way to force their grown children to move out.

Think about your reaction if you're in the bathroom and one of your parents drapes themselves over the potty duplex with you. Bags would be packed shortly right?

    I thought so.
