I love that. It's so funny. Don't sneeze, cough or laugh, it'll send the responder into hell. One time I was laughing at the thing so hard I had to hang up and start over.

I had to do this jump through hoops yesterday to set up a showing. I would tell them what I wanted and the response " We did not get your question, please tell us again"
After 3 tries into their call center, I hung up and didn't show the house. I don't have time for such foolishness, now it is in the realestate market. Thanks for the list. I have had it before but lost it.
I was trying to call my own bank about a pfishing scam.

I have found if I'm using an internet phone, there's too much inteference/background/echo for these autovoice machines to get it. Need a hard line.

This is great. I wrote the codes I might use on a post-it and stuck it on the bulletin board behind my computer.

It seems whatever I say, I get the response "I'm sorry, but we did not understand your answer". One thing I have discovered about getting a human being--choose a selection which requires you to purchase something---eg. new order, reservation---the company can't chance losing you to a computer---you normally get a real person "how can I help you". Then let them connect you to where you really need to go.

That's funny...you never think of this until you are on the phone, and then you forget abotu as soon as you're off.

on a side note, I hate the phone mazes where you have to speak...no option to even hit a button. "Please say 'yes' to confirm you are trying to pay your bill online...You just said 'Yes', please confirm that you said 'Yes' by saying 'yes', or say 'no' if you did not mean to say 'Yes'"...
