Resize that huge photo (pixel-wise) that you took with your 5.0 megapixel digital camera for easier viewing in your e-mails. If you’re a real estate broker or agent, you need to resize if you upload property listing photos to your website or other real estate listing sites. If you blog you will also need to resize your photos. Here’s an easy way to do it if you have Windows XP.
Go to Microsoft PowerToys & download/install Image Resizer from the sidebar on the right (5 from the bottom). Once downloaded, you can now easily resize your photos.
First, locate your photo from “My Pictures” or wherever you store your photos. Right-click the image and a screen appears. Choose “Resize Pictures” and pick a size. Medium usually works fine. A copy of the photo is created in the size you selected. You can now upload that copy to the website. Click “Advanced” if want to create a custom size or if you want to resize the original without a copy.
