If you blog, you comment. But it’s a pain in the blog to have to keep checking back to see new comments. Here’s a solution I’m just trying out, Commentful. Simply insert the URL (Permalink) of the blog post you want to track comments on and set the number of days you want to track it. Done. Now the cool part. Download the Commentful icon to your toolbar (it’s a Firefox extension). The icon will “blink” when a new comment is added.
For easy editing of your watchlist, simply drag & drop the “Add to Commentful” icon to your toolbar and click it whenever you want to add or delete another post, change the expiration or mark comments as read.
Commentful can also be used for Flickr, digg submissions & any other content that is updated.

My blog sneds an email to my blackberry when I get a comment. I can view it and post it. You made a comment on my blog yesterday, which was most appreciated, I viewed it while I was outside doing some yard work.
Teresa, wow, yard work and blogging—now that’s multi-tasking. Thank you also for your thoughtful comments here.

PS That reminds me, I better get out in my yard & do some real work
Thanks. I sell real estate too.
I’ve been using Commentful for about a month now. It’s pretty useful and I like it overall, but I’ve found that it doesn’t always work like it should. Sometimes it doesn’t pick up new comments - so you can’t really depend on it. Let’s see if it works for this post
It worked for me Markus. You?
Sude did. Fairly fast.
I’ve been following your advice religiously JF… I also found following comments a disorganized process and I thought I was just disorganized… I’ll try it out too…
Thanks P. So far Commentful has worked out fine after 2 days use
We’ll see.
