I like Twitpic for its simplicity and ease of use. Still, “Nothing cannot be improved or enhanced”.
I think TweetPhoto might be on their way to improving photo sharing in the Twittersphere and other spheres. You decide.
With TweetPhoto, you can:
- upload photos via web, email, desktop, web-based or mobile apps (like Tweetdeck, Tweetie2, and Uber Twitter)
- geotag your photos
- rotate photos (don’t know how this made the cut)
- tweet your photos (or others)
- favorite photos (which go in your favorites tab)
- share photos on a zillion other social media sites
- see views, votes and comments on your photos (comments are tweeted automatically)
- add a TweetPhoto widget to your blog or website
- see who recently visited your photos
- subscribe via RSS to photo streams
- search box
Check the TweetPhoto blog.
Some (selfish) suggestions–
- allow me to choose my own url shortener
- allow my animated gifs to move (like this

- let me add my own selected “friends” photos
- let me customize my tabs– not really a “celeb” fan
- let me put a link to my home
- add some special effects for photos (polarize, B&W, speech bubbles)
- FOR my Real Estate Peeps: Add a Real Estate Tab and let a link be added to each photo– Realtors might post a house photo and link to the full listing (RE folks love photos)
Do you think TweetPhoto has a good chance of besting TwitPic? Or do you prefer another Twitter photosharing app.
