In Sellsius’ continuing series of the unusual in real estate, today’s feature is a piece of furniture by designer Atelier van Lieshout. Made of reinforced fiberglass, it’s called the Sensory Deprivation Skull. Sensory deprivation?…. I don’t know… looks like two can get comfy in there.
The artist also created the Skull Wellness Center which contains a bath and sauna. (notice the eye hole where the steam escapes)
Mr. van Lieshout (AVL) is an interesting artist. Visit his website for more of the unusual.

Why would someone whant to sit in a skull??
I went to Lieshout web site and have to say impressed with some of his works. Thanks for pointing out!
Sensory deprivation? Sounds like an accurate description..your kid can get nightmares sleeping in one of those things
