Unusual Furniture of the Day: Sensory Deprivation Skull

In Sellsius’ continuing series of the unusual in real estate, today’s feature is a piece of furniture by designer Atelier van Lieshout.  Made of reinforced fiberglass, it’s called the Sensory Deprivation Skull.  Sensory deprivation?…. I don’t know… looks like two can get comfy in there.

The artist also created the Skull Wellness Center which contains a bath and sauna. (notice the eye hole where the steam escapes)

Mr. van Lieshout (AVL) is an interesting artist.  Visit his website for more of the unusual.
