Fresh out of its beta diapers, Clicker is a broadcast programming aggregator and search engine to find network programs (and movies) that made it to the internet. It’s more Hulu than YouTube. You can search by show or topic. There are also categories, which include Business/Finance, How To, Health, News, Interviews (here’s one of F-Book’s Mark Zuckerberg on Business Insider).
Finding the show you want to watch? Painful. Thousands of episodes from thousands of shows are housed on thousands of different sites, mixed among billions of random clips and videos.
Clicker catalogs all broadcast programming online, along with TV-quality Web originals, from these silos and delivers them in one seamless, organized experience so you can easily discover what’s available to watch (and what isn’t) online, where to watch it, and what’s worth watching.
Clicker says it contains more than 450,000 episodes, from over 6,000 shows, from over 1,200 networks, tens of thousands of movies, and 50,000 music videos from 20,000 artists.
I searched real estate and found 231 shows. Here’s LeFrak’s interview on Squawk Box from yesterday.
Since the embed codes are available, a real estate professional might find a relevant clip to include on their blog or website (maybe one which features them). If you happen to broadcast programming, you can send it to Clicker for their review for inclusion in the database.
