Taking a page from the Amsterdam red light district where prostitutes openly display their wares in windows, Jo, Belle, Molly & Bambi are strutting their stuff in a New York retail storefront, in plain view of surprised onlookers, many of them tourists.
Behind the full length glass windows is a colorful apartment interior, aptly named the Meow Mix House, where these ladies are cavorting in broad daylight. Surprised onlookers are glued to the spectacle to see what will happen next.
To build public awareness of their plight, they have set up this display at 425 Madison Avenue in midtown Manhattan. Obviously catering to the lunchtime crowd, the hours of operation are 10-7 daily.
