Unconventional Ads: Barf Bags and Eggshells

youradhere.jpg

CNN reports that US Airways intends to sell advertising on its air sickness bags. Certainly, if someone is upchucking on a plane, I want to see it. But if you’re the hurlee, I think your looking inside the bag. Hey, wait a minute—room for two ads—one on the outside, one on the inside. What’s next….toilet bowls? Wait it’s been done. See next post on talking urinal ads.

Will this type of marketing make consumers sick?

(Thanks to G. Posner for the story tip).

Look for the CBS logo on your next dozen eggs. The media company will laser print its “eye” trademark on 35 million eggs—no yolking.

Where have you seen unconventional real estate broker advertising? How about a relocator advertising on tractor trailers travelling cross country?

Update: The Consumerist got a hold of these CBS eggs, courtesy Steig Retlin.
