I Love Zillow…. Blog

As longtime readers of this blog know, I am not a Zillow fan, primarily because of their refusal to respect homeowner marketing rights. (See the web’s longest Zillow blog post archive here. Don’t forget the funnies).

But I do now confess a love for Zillow Blog. Dang, those blogsters post some interesting stuff.

Unlike some company blogs that puke the pablum of self-promotion on an almost daily basis, these mentalist bloggers find clever ways to weave the Zillow message into the story– it’s almost diabolical. I’m a fan.

  • Joe,
Thank you! And great use of "pablum" btw. Nice word.
  • Hi Joe: We try not to do pablum here because we detest it as much as you do. Besides, who the hell would read it? Thanks for the kudos. I think the post I did on the $1 Detroit House was my favorite because it was emblematic of Detroit's misery in a time lapse-like sequence. First, you see the house (via our Bird's Eye View) relatively intact and then you see the house after it's been stripped bare: http://www.zillowblog.com/the-remains-of-the-1-...
  • Yes, that was a good one. Love the zippy writing. And you all have a great sense of humor. Continued success.
  • I've started reading zillow's blog a lot lately myself. I really like the articles that get run there. Some blogs get to be too boring but there's is to the point and light...check them out if you haven't already.

    Thanks
  • If their blog is anything like their site.. they are way off.
  • Unlike zillow.com, they are on the money.
